March

Just before our climb
I was given a lovely present from my family for the Harbour Bridge Climb, we had the perfect day not too hot and not too cold.

My son Mark came with me as Leanne had her to look after her children and Rob my husband
(Big woose) wouldn't do the climb. But he was happy taking the photos.

great view of the Opera House

Madison & Leanne and that's Mark & I heading towards the
middle of the bridge, we look like ants.
Our line dancers had another social this month, this was at Batemans Bay, this was well attended and we had a ball. Jenny & Maureen from Sussex Inlet and Carol from Sanctuary Point came along with me for another fund raiser again Relay for Life, it is great to see so many groups raising money for charity.

We also enjoyed more retail therapy, it's so good for the soul.

Glad to see you Jo & Dave Lake from Batemans Bay Line Dancers, hopefully we will get more of our line dancers to come down next time.

The Homebush Ball is coming up this weekend, there will be 17 of us going along dressed in national colours or costume of our ancesters, should be interesting one of our girls is dutch, windmills, clogs (the mind is ticking over) my mother is Scottish so I'm going to wear some tartan leggings, it was too hard to find a kilt. All the others will probably come in Red,White and Blue or Yellow & Green. (Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie Oy Oy Oy)

February

Well where did February go, I had the grandchildren down for a month and I'm only just getting back into the swing of things. It was wonderful having them with me, Madison has such a cute personality and little Jesse always has a smile to give to his Nanna. They are so precious, not sure when we will see them again but Skype comes in handy.

Our group had 1 social to go to in February at Huskisson to raise money for Relay for Life, this was well attended with a great mix of dances.

Me, Madison & Rob
I had my 60th birthday with my family and friends, Jenny and the girls from Sussex help to decorate the cake and also stuck balloons all over the hall. It was a lovely night with a bit of dancing after we had our meals

Thanks to everyone that came along to make it a fantastic night and all the lovely gifts I received I will cherish this time forever.

We also managed to take a bus trip to Shellharbour with Shoalhaven Country Line Dancers and their friends or families, that came along to have a bit of retail therapy. Always works a treat.
