Another social for the year, this time we were off
to Milton with Helen Reeson, this was another fund raiser. This was well
attended and quite a few of our ladies & Rob(Hoover) turned up for another
toe tapping day of dances. Thanks for a great afternoon Helen.
Chromefest was later in the month, we had a lovely
apartment on the river at The Entrance and overlooking the ocean and park where
everything was happening right at our doorstep, what a great spot. We shared
the apartment with Richard & Margaret and Carol & Ken, we all got along
very well and had a great time, sitting on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine
(or 2) and watching the events unfold before us.
There is plenty of talent showing off their Rock
& Roll moves and saw the bands playing Rockabilly & Swing music, they
were great. We travelled up the coast in Richard's fancy Thunderbird left hand
drive and very comfy.
Looking forward to November as my holiday to Hawaii
is getting closer.
