SCLD raises money for local charities, over the last 20 years we have raised over $50,000 Dollars, this is a great achievement by the committee and our members working hard over the years.

We started the weekend with our Friday Night social, which was well attended with requests, a huge mix of old, new, easy and hard dances. Thanks for all who attended the social especially those that travelled from a great distance, Canberra, Lithgow, Sydney and even Queensland.

Workshop with Kate Simpkin |
Saturday morning we had Kate Simpkin who hosted our workshop, Kate taught 4 dances, 2 improver dances, 1 Easy Intermediate and 1 Intermediate dance.
The first dance was Judge Not by Rachael McEnaney, Russian Roulette by Simon Ward & Kate Simpkin, Brand New Day by Tina Argyle, Frankie Fever by Maddison Glover. All dances I'm sure will be done at classes, A big thanks to Kate who makes the workshop a lot of fun.

Dancing in White & Bling |
Saturday Afternoon, the theme being "White & Bling", the auditorium of the St Georges Basin Country Club was totally transformed from drab to spectacular, Rob (my husband) has weaved his magic once again with fantastic stage props of ice castles, swans, clouds, white trees and lots of snowflakes, the table decorations looked amazing with the help of our dedicated committee and members that worked hard to make this a spectacular social.
